Delete your SchoolOS account

What you can request

• Deletion of your operator profile (name, phone, email, role).
• Deletion of any personal data you uploaded under your account.
• For parents acting under DPDPA Section 9: erasure of the child's data and withdrawal of consent. The school administrator will be notified to mirror the change in their records.
• Cancellation of any active subscription at the end of the current billing cycle.

Financial / fee records (invoices, GST line items) must be retained for 7 years under Indian Income Tax Act and GST law. Statutory student records held on behalf of the school are returned to the school on termination of the school's contract.

How to request deletion

Email support@schoolos.app from your registered address with the subject "Account deletion request". Use the button below to pre-fill the message.

Request account deletion

If your registered email no longer works, write from any address and include enough information (registered phone, institution name, role) so we can verify you.

Timeline

We acknowledge requests within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with DPDPA Section 12.
